Water Pressure
Regulating Water Pressure & Pressure Reducing Valves

PRV is installed to adjust the flow of water to ensure it doesn’t exceed a preset pressure.
Water Pressure is regulated by a PRV (Pressure Regulating Valve) to restore water pressure to a safe range. High water pressure can disrupt a plumbing system by the force of the water. It can cause damage to toilets, faucets, and other fixtures.

Reasons to Regulate Water Pressure

-
Reduces the risk of damage to fixtures like faucets, toilets, water heaters, etc.
-
Improves efficiency, less waste of water.
-
Protects water pipes and water heater from spikes in water pressure.
