Septic Tank Installation

Halcomb Plumbing hydrojetter

A septic tank system is used for homes or businesses that are not serviced by city or county municipal sewer service. It is originally designed and sized based on the expected number of occupants and sewage. The sewer line runs from the exit point of the home or business to the septic tank. A Clean-Out is an access point along the sewer line where the pipe can be accessed along the path to the septic tank. Not all homes and businesses have clean-outs, but they are very helpful in providing access to the pipe between the building and septic tank.

You may experience gurgling sounds or full blockage with sewage backup inside. This could be a blockage in the pipes inside (drain pipe) or it could be in the sewer pipe going to your septic tank, a problem at the entrance or exit of the septic tank, or in the septic drain field. Pipes can also be clogged when anything other than waste or toilet paper is flushed.  Grease especially will cause pipes to clog over time as it sticks to the sides, hardens and clogs the pipes over time.  Our expert plumbers can research and diagnose the problem.

You can experience problems inside when the septic tank is full or the septic tank system has failed.  Our trained and experienced plumbers have a variety of equipment and tools to understand the problem and provide a solution. They will explain the problem to you and offer a solution or sometimes multiple solutions / options to remedy the problem.  We are Certified Septic Tank Installers, however we have found that the majority of septic tank problems can be solved with repairs at the inlet and / or outlet baffle tees. We will inspect the inlet and outlet baffles / tees when the septic tank is pumped to ensure it is working properly.

If  you have root infestation or root intrusion in your sewer pipes, you may be a good candidate for RootX treatment. We recommend treating with RootX, then following up with hydro jetting 2 - 3 months later to remove the completely dead roots.
